Celebrating 400 Years of Being Baptist 1 Year, 6 Months ago  
The Baptist History and Heritage Society and The Center for Baptist Studes (Mercer University) is publishing a series of twelve monthly bulletin inserts during 2009. As they are released we will also publish them here

Regarding the sequential monthly PDFs 1 Year, 6 Months ago  
Because of file manipulation to cause file to meet uploading requirements, the documents can be best read if printed.

An 'extreme makeover' had to be performed on the March 2009 PDF to get it reduced small enough to upload to the Message Board. It should print OK.

Pay close attention to the 'preaching team' of the very first Baptist Church in North Carolina (Sandy Creek).

About Early Baptist Churches 1 Year, 5 Months ago  
It would be interesting to know the name of the Virginia Baptist church that the Marshalls joined prior to 1755.

The average congregation size of Baptist churches in 1720 was 53; in 1790 it was 68. So there were not many larger Baptist churches by 1790.
