2009 TMBC Census and Financial Data 7 Months, 1 Week ago
For comparison you should printout the 2008 TMBC Census Report attached to first message posted in link below:

http://tinyurl.com/75xdsr

Total Resident Members (those marked Active and De-active) reduced from 681 in 2008 to 674 in 2009. A reconciliation follows:

681 = Total Resident Members 2008
+16 = New Resident Members added during 2009
-23 = Resident Members leaving TMBC during 2009
674 = Total Resident Members 2009

Resident Members marked Active decreased from 570 to 525, a more marked decrease than above. So Resident Members marked De=active increased from 111 in 2008 to 149 in 2009.

Active Resident Members who have age indicated in their TMBC record decreased from 542 in 2008 to 502 in 2009, a decrease of 40.

Average age per Resident Member increased from 56.02 in 2008 to 56.76 in 2009.

10 Year Resident Memory Summary 7 Months, 1 Week ago
According to the 10 year summary of resident members there has been a sharp change in "age of new members" between the first 5 years of the decade and the last 5 years. From 2000-2004 we had 106 new resident members from age 18-40. For the years 2005-2009 we had 48. In the age-group 18-30 the shift in pattern is more pronounced. From 2000-2004 we gained 93 new members; from 2005-2009 only 21.

This shift happened the last year of Larry Hovis' tenure at TMBC.

2009 Financial Check Points 7 Months, 1 Week ago
Some Financial Check Points:

Of the $315K TMBC has in savings at end of 2009, approximately $87K will remain indefinitely with only the interest being usable at the church's discretion. Of the remaining $233K, $124K is in the Current Needs Fund and is available to deploy at the church's discretion. Normally, such deployment comes from recommendations from the Finance Team.

The equipped facilities are over $5,300,000.

TMBC bank debt is just above $608K.

Amount in the Operating Fund on 1/1/2010 is $66,250.
