Children are welcome to join us for a Book Tasting in the Library on Tuesday, August 19th from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. They will be exposed to different genres, authors, award winners, and titles. Students will be shown how to “taste” (sample) a book by looking at the title, front and back cover, table of contents, fonts, and illustrations. This will hopefully help encourage the love of reading and give the children a chance to become more aware of different genres. The children will have fun making a snack from a popcorn bar too!
